Maintenance Assistant-Glen Allen, Virginia-FT
  
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assisting the Maintenance Supervisor, Construction Manager, Facilities Manager, and VP-Facilities with facilities maintenance and repair;
Assisting with managing various renovation projects for existing facilities;
Assisting with opening new facilities;
Ensuring clean working facilitates for patients and staff;
Ensuring that all requests for repair of Patient First property are preformed in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner, including but not limited to: grounds and landscape, driveways and sidewalks, building structure, exterior and interior finishes, and equipment.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Experience in equipment or facility repair and maintenance;
Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and to work within deadlines;
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all centers in a region without supervision;
Must be able to lift heavy items; 50 lbs. or more;
Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs safely;
Must be able to sit, stand, walk and climb for long periods of time (possibly 4-7 hours at a time);
Willing to travel and work at facilities, at different times of day or week to determine emergency or repair situations;
Familiar with OSHA Safety Regulations.
