Telecommunications Help Desk Specialist-Glen Allen, Virginia-FT

The Telecommunications Helpdesk Specialist assists the Telecommunications Manager.
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintaining telephone and data communications network for the company;
Assisting with all telecommunication and electronic system renovation projects;
Maintaining security and fire detection systems;
Monitoring back-up power center equipment;
Maintaining surveillance camera systems;
Assisting Telecommunications Manager with facilities maintenance and center construction.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Associate degree or higher in a related field;
Good organizational skills and abilty to manage multiple tasks;
Hands-on experience in the telecommunications or technology industry;
Ability to travel and be away from home overnight;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook).
